Harmen Meijerink has worked as a lawyer since 1993. He deals exclusively with tenant disputes, both as a lawyer and a mediator.

Meijerink worked for 30 years as an editor for the leading Dutch magazine about tenancy law (Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht) and is a member of the Tenancy Lawyers Association (Vereniging van Huurrechtadvocaten, VHA). He also teaches tenancy law at law schools, including OSR Law School (OSR Juridische Opleidingen) and the Amsterdam Legal Studies Foundation (Stichting Opleiding Advocatuur Amsterdam).

Harmen Meijerink has been a board member of the Amsterdam Bar Association for 10 years.
